My Approach
I have a passion for working with children on the Autistic Spectrum, children with sensory processing difficulties, and children with behavioural challenges. I especially enjoy early intervention, working with toddlers and children under the age of 5. I use sensory techniques when working with school aged children where behavioural problems and poor school performance occur.
It is important to me to educate the parents so that they understand the importance of therapy and alternative ways to define success for their children.
I thoroughly enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team so strategies are implemented consistently in the treatment plan.
I am in the process of completing my Sensory Integration (SI) and DIR Floortime qualifications.
